Intuit emailed its QuickBooks Online Accountant customers regarding its plan to discontinue the Document Center feature in QuickBooks – which really gave birth to new qualm among the QuickBooks Online users. As the feature has been an interesting one for small businesses, it is obvious to talk about the aftereffects. As per the email messages, the service is going to be discontinued, effective from August 24, 2016.
Though there is no any intimation about the way how the users will be accessing their documents safely, yet it is apparent that the users are going to get something more impressive.
Let’s have a glance at some important questions and try to understand whether the Intuit QuickBooks Online technical support for other features will get affected or not.
What is QuickBooks Online Accountant Document Center?
It’s a type of “Document Management” tool that allows the users to store their important company data files. In addition, it offers a secure gateway to exchange important company files with clients. With the discontinuation of Account Document Center, only QuickBooks Online users are going to get affected from the changes.
What is going to be disappeared?
If you use QB Online Accountant and the Box account is activated, then it allows you to send a request for a document using your client list – this is what you will no longer be able to use once after the feature is discontinued.
But you must not get worried about other features; Intuit is even planning to enhance the others with advanced features. In case of any issues with the existing features, you should immediately approach for technical support service for QuickBooks online.
What the users will lose?
When it comes to stopping Account Document Center in QuickBooks Online, most of the users start wondering if they will lose access to their important documents. But Intuit is not going to get the things in this way. All the documents are stored in Box account; you can still have an access to your documents by logging into the Box account. If you are unable to log into the Box account, don’t get worried as you access QuickBooks online customer support service to get the issue resolved.
When the feature was added to QuickBooks, Intuit observed that very little number of users was using the feature. In addition, the feature fails to ensure easiness and flexibility while using the software. Instead of continuing the feature, Intuit decided to discontinue the feature in QuickBooks Online.
For more details on why and when the change will take place, visit an experienced Intuit QuickBooks technical support technician and get a comprehensive details about the change.
Though Intuit has not intimated regarding any new replacement in place of Account Document Center, yet we can expect for better. QuickBooks Online does already have some amazing storage features for documents that you can use to keep your important data files safe.
